What It Is

Your stride, slowed down and explained.

Running looks simple until something starts to hurt. Then every stride feels like a guess: is it your shoes, your mileage, or something in how you actually move?

A running analysis answers that with video. We record you running, then break the footage down frame by frame: foot strike, cadence, hip drop, arm swing, all the small mechanics that add up over thousands of steps.

From there, it’s a cause-first evaluation, not a highlight reel. We connect what we see on screen to what’s actually driving your pain, or what’s quietly setting you up for one, then talk through the specific changes that matter for your stride.

Questions, Answered

Running analysis, no mystery.

Not at all. Plenty of runners come in already dealing with pain, and we start with a cause-first evaluation to find what’s driving it. Just as many come in injury-free, simply wanting a second set of eyes on their stride. Catching a mechanical issue early is often the whole point.

Just come as you normally run. Wear your usual running shoes and the shorts or fitted clothing you’d train in, so we can actually see your mechanics on camera. If you rotate between a few pairs of shoes, feel free to bring them along.

Typically, no. This is a self-pay service, similar to our Performance Coaching. It’s an assessment and performance service rather than a treatment for a diagnosed injury, which is how insurers draw the line. If your analysis uncovers something insurance-billable, we’ll walk you through those options separately. Questions before then? Call us at (737) 777-8343.
